Lanre Hassan, a Nigerian film actress, has spent decades captivating audiences in the Yoruba-language cinema of Nollywood. She made her mark at 14 with the Ojo Ladipo Theatre Group and later trained at the Lagos School of Dramatic Arts under Chief Olude. With a diploma in theatre from the University of Lagos, Hassan has brought depth to her performances. A prominent figure in Nigerian cinema since the 1970s.
