Jean-Louis Sbille

Biography

Jean-Louis Sbille is a Belgian-French-speaking artist and writer, known for his work in various mediums. He co-founded the art video and performance group RUPTZ with Marc Borgers in the mid-1970s, and published several notable works of youth literature, including "The Castle That Had Hiccups" and "Les Camions De La Peur". Sbille has also worked as a dramatist, collaborating with Mexican choreographer José Besprosvany from 2003 to 2009. He is currently a professor of media criticism at the Haute Ecole Libre de Bruxelles Ilya Prigogine.
