Ruth Madeley

Biography

Ruth Madeley is a British actress known for her roles in Years and Years, The Rook, and Doctor Who. Born with spina bifida, she has been a long-time supporter of charity Whizz Kidz, which provided funding for her custom wheelchair at age 5. Madeley's advocacy work earned her the Princess Diana Memorial Award at 13, while her acting career took off in her late teens. She was nominated for a television BAFTA in 2016.
