Al Hoosmann

Biography

Al Hoosman was a former serviceman and boxer who transitioned to acting in the 1950s and 1960s, appearing in films such as "The Phantom of the Big Tent" and "Beyond the Law". He gained recognition for his role as a Preacher's Associate in the 1968 film. Prior to his acting career, Hoosman was stationed in Mount Isa, Queensland, Australia during World War II, where he earned respect as a military policeman known as "Big Al".
