Anup Bhandari is an Indian film director, composer, and lyricist working primarily in Kannada cinema. Born on March 2, 1982, in Puttur, Karnataka, he made his directorial debut with the mystery thriller RangiTaranga (2015), featuring his brother Nirup Bhandari. The film's success led to accolades including the Filmfare Award for Best Film and IIFA Utsavam Awards for Best Music Director and Best Lyrics.
