Hizuru Takachiho was a Japanese actress born on October 10, 1930, in Hyogo Prefecture. She gained popularity for her roles as an "ohime-sama" (princess) in period dramas and later transitioned to playing mature women in modern dramas. Takachiho married actor Konishi Masao in 1964 and the couple co-founded their respective entertainment companies after his retirement from baseball refereeing.
