Gary Fisher is a multi-talented individual with a passion for cycling. He began competing in road and track races at 12 and went on to win the TransAlp race in Europe and a Masters XC national title. In 1975, Fisher innovated and built his own 1930s Schwinn Excelsior X bicycle, introducing drum brakes, triple chainrings, and motorcycle brake levers to the model.
