Alla Sokolova was a renowned Soviet and Russian actress, playwright, and screenwriter. She graduated from GITIS with a master's degree and began her career in theaters of the Soviet republics. Her third play, "Fantazии Фарятьева," gained immense popularity in the USSR, leading to film adaptations and continued stage productions, including a 2014 revival at Moscow's Masterclass Theater.
