Sarwat Gilani is a Pakistani actress and social activist, known for her role in the 2022 film Joyland, which won the Best International Film Jury Award at the Cannes Film Festival. A versatile performer, she has also appeared in television plays, web series, and feature films. Gilani is a vocal advocate for women's rights and LGBTQ+ community, and has worked as an ambassador for several organizations, including Special Olympics Pakistan and Indus Hospital Health Network.
