Biography

Zhang Guoqing, born in 1955, is a Shanghai native and renowned Chinese actor and comedic performer. A member of the Shanghai Youth Acrobatic Troupe and the Shanghai People's Acrobatic Troupe, he has performed in numerous classic comedy plays, including "Three Little Students" and "72 House Guests." He made his film debut in 1994 with the Lee Lai-shan-directed Shanghai Talkie "Stock Fever." His breakout role came in 2008 with the TV series "Hidden in Plain Sight."
