Valérie Kaprisky is a French actress born on August 19, 1962, in Neuilly-sur-Seine to Polish mother and Greek-Ottoman/Argentine father. She discovered her passion for acting at eight while watching the Cannes film festival, leading her to attend Cours Florent acting school in Paris. Her breakthrough came with the American remake Breathless (1983) alongside Richard Gere, followed by a nomination for Best Actress for La femme publique (1984).
