Biography

Shawty Lo, born Carlos Rico Walker, was a founding member of the Southern hip hop group D4L. He gained widespread success with the group's 2005 single "Laffy Taffy," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and received double platinum certification. Shawty Lo also released his debut single "Dey Know" in 2007, which peaked within the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100.
