Biography

Elena Semikina is a Moldovan Canadian actress and producer, best known for her title win as Miss Universe Canada 2010. She also conceived and executive-produced the documentary film Our Man in Tehran, which premiered at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival. Semikina has been involved in various other endeavors, but her career has been marked by controversy, including charges of criminal harassment against her ex-boyfriend.
