Rachel Ames is an American actress born on November 2, 1929, in Portland, Oregon, to a family of actors and theater professionals. She gained recognition for her role as Julie Cummings in the 1951 film "When Worlds Collide." Ames' longest-running and most iconic role was as Audrey Hardy on the ABC Daytime soap opera General Hospital, where she earned three Daytime Emmy Award nominations and the Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2004.
