George Cisar

Biography

George Cisar was a prolific American actor who appeared in over one hundred roles across two decades of film and television. He gained notable recognition for his recurring roles as Sgt. Theodore Mooney on CBS's Dennis the Menace and Cyrus Tankersley on The Andy Griffith Show, among other appearances. Cisar also co-starred with Mike Wallace in the short-lived police drama Stand By for Crime in 1949. His acting career spanned from the late 1940s to his death in 1979.
