Dorothee Pesch, known professionally as Doro, is a German heavy metal singer-songwriter born on June 3, 1964. As the former frontwoman of Warlock, she became a global figure in metal culture, earning the nickname "Queen of Heavy Metal". After achieving commercial success with Warlock in the 1980s, she launched a solo career to avoid legal disputes, releasing two albums in the US with notable producers.
