Michael Colgan

Biography

Michael Colgan is a Northern Irish actor, novelist, and academic, born Michael Hughes in Keady, County Armagh, and educated at Oxford and Royal Holloway. He is a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at Queen Mary University of London, having previously taught at London Metropolitan University and other institutions. Colgan has also worked in the theater, most notably playing Harpagon in a production of Molière's L'Avare.
