Bronagh Waugh is a Northern Irish actress born on October 6, 1982. She gained recognition for her role as Cheryl Brady in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks from 2009 to 2013, earning nominations for Best Newcomer, Best Actress, and Best Comedy Performance at the 2010 British Soap Awards. Since leaving Hollyoaks, Waugh has appeared in dramas such as The Fall, Unforgotten, and Strike, and has become a prominent advocate for same-sex marriage in Northern Ireland.
