Biography

Benjamin Ferencz was a renowned American lawyer who played a pivotal role in bringing Nazi war criminals to justice. As chief prosecutor at the Einsatzgruppen Trial, he led the US Army's efforts to hold accountable those responsible for atrocities committed during World War II. A lifelong advocate for international rule of law, Ferencz also worked tirelessly for the establishment of an International Criminal Court.
