Biography

Chris Foss is a British artist and science fiction illustrator born in 1946 in Guernsey, Channel Islands. He gained recognition for his science fiction book covers, including the Foundation Trilogy by Isaac Asimov, and illustrations for the original editions of The Joy of Sex. Foss also contributed to Penthouse magazine and created artwork for novels by Jack Vance, including the Demon Princes series.
