Biography
Denyce Lawton is an American actress and model of South Korean and African American descent. Born on May 2, 1978, she rose to prominence with recurring roles in Tyler Perry's House of Payne and The Hot Zone. Before becoming an actress, Lawton worked as a personal assistant to Irv Gotti at Def Jam Recordings and later became a publicist for 20th Century Studios. She has also modeled for various prominent publications.
