Marianela Núñez

Biography

Marianela Núñez is a principal dancer with The Royal Ballet, London. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she began ballet classes at age three and joined the Teatro Colón Ballet School at six. At 14, she was discovered by Maximiliano Guerra and subsequently joined the company, before being offered a contract with The Royal Ballet at 15 despite not speaking English. She was promoted to First Soloist in 2000.
