Biography

Fred Ferris was a British actor, stage producer, and playwright born in West Derby, Liverpool in 1905. He began his career as a comic actor, appearing in the BBC's radio comedy Club Night, before transitioning to television. Ferris is perhaps best known for his roles in Coronation Street and Doctor Who, including the notable appearance in the serial Planet of Giants. He passed away in 1978 at the age of 72.
