Eric Stonestreet was born on September 9, 1971, in Kansas City, Kansas, to a family of German descent who ran a pig farm. As a child, he performed as a clown named Fizbo at birthday parties by age 11. He gained recognition for his recurring role on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation before landing his breakout role as Cameron Tucker on Modern Family from 2009-2020. He received two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series during his time on the show.
