Biography

Terry Dexter is an American contemporary R&B singer-songwriter, actress, and multi-instrumentalist born in Detroit, Michigan. She rose to fame as a lead singer in the band Tristar, performing locally from age 9 to 14, and later signed with Elektra Records at 13. Her debut album was released in 1999, followed by a critically acclaimed second album, Listen, which showcased her talent as a singer-songwriter.
