Karin Tammaru is an Estonian stage, television, and film actress born on January 27, 1971, in Paide, Järva County. She graduated from EMA Higher Drama School in 1996 and began her acting career with Rakvere Theatre before joining Vanemuine theatre in Tartu for eight years. Tammaru is known for roles in "Surnuaiavahi tütar" (2011) as Principal Jaaksoo and "Last Sentinel" (2023) as Marine Corporal, alongside a long-term relationship with actor Indrek Taalmaa.
