Homayoun Ghanizadeh is an Iranian avant-garde theatre director, playwright, and actor born on December 5, 1980, in Tehran. He founded Mungu Theater Company in 2001 and has staged several notable plays, including "Mississippi dies seated" and "Caligula", which broke sales records in Iran. Ghanizadeh has also received awards for his work, including the 2018 statue for "A Hairy Tale" from the 13th Cinema Critics and Writers Association of Iran.
