Anand Batbileg

Biography

Anand Batbileg is a German actor of Mongolian descent, born on January 1, 2001, in Munich. He gained recognition for his lead role in Fatih Akin's 2016 film adaptation of Wolfgang Herrndorf's novel "Tschick", playing the 14-year-old Russian-German Andrej Tschikatschow. His role was facilitated by his father's connection to the Mongolian Embassy in Berlin, where he received a casting call through a forgotten note.
