Lynn Nolan Ryan Jr., known as "the Ryan Express", is a legendary American former professional baseball pitcher and sports executive. He pitched for the New York Mets, California Angels, Houston Astros, and Texas Rangers over a record 27-year career, setting an MLB record for career strikeouts with 5,714. Inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999, Ryan is widely considered one of the greatest pitchers of all time.
