Dan Barton

Biography

Dan Barton was an American actor born on September 20, 1921, who began his acting career at age 12, appearing in radio shows averaging 15 performances a week. He served in the Army Special Services Entertainment Unit during World War II, and later appeared on stage in a production of Mister Roberts, meeting actor Cliff Robertson along the way. He was married twice, first to Anne Barton and then to Gyl Roland in 2005, with two children from his first marriage.
