Ted Shackelford is an American actor born on June 23, 1946, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He played Gary Ewing on the CBS prime time soap opera Dallas from 1979 to 1993 and later became a main star of Knots Landing, starring from 1979 to 1993. Shackelford also had a recurring role as twin brothers William and Jeffrey Bardwell on The Young and the Restless from 2006 to 2015.
