Nick Bockwinkel was an American professional wrestler and son of wrestler Warren Bockwinkle, debuting in 1954 as a journeyman babyface. He joined the Minneapolis-based AWA in 1970 and rose to prominence as a main event heel, holding the AWA World Heavyweight Championship four times before retiring in 1987. Bockwinkel was recognized for his exceptional technical wrestling ability and mastery of in-ring psychology, earning inductions into multiple wrestling halls of fame.
