She graduated from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2010 and went on to land her breakthrough role as Bill Potts in the long-running television series Doctor Who. Her performance was soon followed by a notable role in the BBC One soap opera Doctors, playing Anne-Marie Frasier in 2014.
