Z-Ro, born Joseph Wayne McVey on January 19, 1977, is a renowned American rapper from Houston, Texas. After struggling on the streets, he discovered his talent for freestyle rapping, which led to a record deal with Rap-a-Lot. His critically acclaimed debut album, The Life of Joseph W. McVey, achieved significant success and cemented his status as one of America's most underrated rappers, as named by The New York Times in 2007.
