Selenis Leyva is an American actress of Cuban and Dominican descent, born on May 26, 1972. She began her career in Off-Broadway productions before landing a breakthrough role as Gloria Mendoza in the Netflix comedy-drama series Orange Is the New Black. Her notable subsequent roles include starring in the Disney+ comedy-drama series Diary of a Future President and appearing in films like Spider-Man: Homecoming and Creed III.
