Jiří Hanibal
Biography
Jiří Hanibal was a Czech writer, screenwriter, and director, born on February 18, 1929, in Tábor. He studied at the Prague Film Academy and began his career in film as an assistant director, working with notable filmmakers like Vojtěch Jasan and Martin Frič. Hanibal went on to write several novels, including "Život samá serpentýna" and "Blýskání na lepší časy", and directed the 1989 film "Útěk...".
