Francis Guinan

Biography

Francis Guinan Jr., born November 17, 1951, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, is an American actor with a diverse career spanning film, television, and stage. Notably, he played the patriarch Edgar Teller in the short-lived series Eerie, Indiana, and has made guest appearances in numerous other notable TV shows, including Grey's Anatomy and Star Trek: Enterprise. Guinan has also been part of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company ensemble since 1979, and appeared in films such as Hannibal and The Last Airbender.
