Alberto Fernández Díaz is a Spanish politician born on December 12, 1961, in Barcelona. He joined the People's Party of Catalonia in 1980 and was first elected to the City Council of Barcelona in 1987. Fernández Díaz led the party in the Parliament of Catalonia and served as a member of the City Council from 1987 to 1999 and again from 2003 to 2019.
