Lois January

Biography

Lois January was a talented American actress and singer who began her career in small roles in B-movies during the 1930s. Her most notable role came as the Emerald City manicurist in The Wizard of Oz, where she sang to Dorothy. She also appeared in numerous westerns throughout the decade, often playing heroine roles opposite notable actors. January continued to act in non-starring parts into the 1980s and 1990s.
