Laith Nakli is a British actor of Syrian descent, born on December 1, 1969, known for his roles in the 2017 movie The Wall as Juba, the 2017 miniseries The Long Road Home, and 2018 film 12 Strong as Commander Ahmed Lal. His career took an unexpected turn after being arrested in 1998 and retiring from bodybuilding to pursue acting. He later faced administrative closure of his case by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in 2013.
