Biography

Irina Kara is a British actress born in Russia, having studied at the prestigious Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography under the guidance of Sergei Bondarchuk. She settled in the UK after graduating in 1989 and has since made a name for herself in theater, film, and TV. Her notable roles include Lena Ulianova in "Lord Have Mercy" (1995) and Amy's mother in "La Corrispondenza" (2016).
