Geraldine Hughes is a Northern Irish actress born in West Belfast, who drew on her childhood drama club experience to escape the turmoil of The Troubles. She won a private scholarship and attended UCLA, where she graduated, before transitioning into film roles such as Mary Todd Lincoln in "Killing Lincoln" and Clint Eastwood's daughter-in-law in "Gran Torino". Hughes has also showcased her writing talent with her one-woman show "Belfast Blues".
