Teodor Currentzis

Biography

Teodor Currentzis is a Greek-Russian conductor and musician born on February 24, 1972, in Athens. He began studying piano and violin at a young age and later became a principal conductor of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, where he founded the musicAeterna orchestra and choir. He also acted in the 2009 film Dau, directed by Ilya Khrzhanovsky, based on the biography of physicist Lev Landau.
