Georges Flamant

Biography

Georges Flamant was a French film actor who rose to prominence in the early years of cinema. He gained widespread notoriety for his role as a pimp in Jean Renoir's 1931 film La Chienne, which ultimately led to his ostracism by some parts of the film community. Despite this setback, Flamant went on to appear in notable films like "The 400 Blows" under François Truffaut. He also appeared alongside Viviane Romance in several productions after marrying her.
