Biography

Atsuko Kawada is a Japanese actor, model, singer, and author born on August 10, 1965, in Tokyo, Japan. She rose to fame in 1981 as the winner of the "Miss Young Jump Queen" contest and gained international recognition for her role as the heroine in the TBS television series adaptation of Yukio Aoshima's best-selling novel, Ningen Banji Saiō ga Hinoe Uma. She has also published a novel and starred in several films and television series.
