Karen Hassan is a Northern Irish actress born in July 1981 in Belfast, one of five sisters. She studied drama at Queens University before becoming a professional actress, initially landing minor roles in films and TV shows. Hassan rose to prominence in 2008 with a regular role in the series Hollyoaks, later reprising the character of Lynsey Nolan in the spin-off series Hollyoaks Later.
