Hans Culeman was a Dutch actor of German descent, born in Rhaunen on September 26, 1927, and passed away in Den Haag on January 17, 1974. Notable in his filmography is his role in the 1962 Dutch drama "De overval". He was also part of the Dutch National Theater and translated the Austrian playwright Hermann Ortner's work. Culeman's early life was marked by his family's forced emigration from Nazi Germany to the Netherlands in 1936.
