Biography

Catherine Stoyan is a German actress and voice actor, born in Großenhain in 1959 to parents Marianne Meffert and Wolfgang Meffert. A graduate of the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin, she has had a prolific stage career, with notable engagements at the Berliner Ensemble and the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz. She was awarded the Hersfeld Prize in 1999 for her portrayal of Beatrice in William Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing".
