Biography

Maj-Doris Kristina Rimpi is a Swedish-Samish actress, renskötare, and artist known for her roles in "Sami Blood" (2016) and "Glada hälsningar från Missångerträsk" (2015). A Samernas folkhögskola graduate, she co-founded the first free Sami theater group, Dálvadis, in the 1970s. Rimpi has also received awards for her traditional Sami craftsmanship and starred in the 2018 documentary "Maj Doris".
