Benu Mabhena is a Zimbabwean actress born in London to a Ndébélé ethnic background. She has lived in various African countries, including South Africa and Lesotho, before moving to the United States with her family. Mabhena's notable film role was as Jassie Vandy in the 2006 blockbuster Blood Diamond, which received international critical acclaim.
